The Spring Bling Think Pink™ Gala Ball will be held at the private Englewood Cliffs residence of Joanne and Ronald Rollieson on May 12, 2012 from 7 pm to midnight. Set to be the Rollieson’s most elegant soiree to date, guests are asked to attend in semi-formal attire adorned with a touch of pink. The suggested minimum donation this year will be $75 and will benefit Gilda’s Club NNJ Cultural Outreach Department and Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.
Entertainment will be provided “Neo-soulful” performer Angie Stone and New Jersey’s top R & B BandThe Total Eclipse. Dr. LaJoyce Brookshire will lead the health education segment. Affectionately known as the “Good Doctor,” Brookshire is a classical Naturopath and author whose talk is titled “You are what you eat and think.” The medical information segment will be presented by board certified plastic surgeon, Troy Callahan, MD, of the Northern Jersey Plastic Surgery in Paramus, NJ who will talk candidly about the latest techniques in breast augmentation.
Joanne English Rollieson, Real Estate Broker, philanthropist, community activist and cancer survivor launched the annual Spring Bling Think Pink™ breast cancer benefit together with her husband, Ronald, in 2007. As a survivor of Stage 3 Hodgkin’s cfdisease and Stage 2 breast cancer, Joanne began this fundraiser at as a means of educating attendees about breast cancer, creating awareness, celebrating life and giving back to organizations that share the same goals. The Rollieson’s have donated over $15,000 to cancer organizations to date.
Over the past five years the Rollieson’s party has been a spectacular success due in part to the support they’ve received from local restaurants and caterers, entertainment companies and the local medical community.
